On one hand it makes the journalist more compatible to handle the amount and the speed of news nowadays, but on the other hand it diminishes paper journalism as it is incompatible to handle the amount and speed of news. The elections in Iran and the death of Michael Jackson proved much paper journalism incompatible. journalists had made a great step from rejecting social media as a news source to engaging in it.
